Don't Go Bounding

Hey there sunshine, take it slow. Mornings here, but don't just go.

Sit a minute, count to ten. Let that blood come back again.

Stretch those legs, wiggle those toes. Feel that tingle 'fore you go.

Grab the wall or take your cane. Get your footing, don't complain.

Don't go bounding outta bed. You might faint and bump your head.

Take it slow, don't rush that rise. Keep your balance, open them eyes. 

Don't go bounding outta bed. Just breathe and clear your head.

You've walked miles, you've seen it all. Don't let dizziness make you fall. Slow and steady wins the day. Bounding fast is not the way.

Don't go bounding outta bed. You might faint and hit your head.

Take it slow, don't rush that rise. keep your balance, ope them eyes.

Move with grace, not with dread. Stay upright, keep your head.
